I know soup in the summer is a little weird, but my son only makes one thing in his play kitchen. You guessed it: soup. The type varies from banana to egg to pickle but it's always soup. This craft throws in some learning along with the pretend play that it facilitates once it's completed.
1. Gather your materials. You will need a cereal box or other sturdy paper, markers, dry pasta, scissors , glue and alphabet stickers.
2. Start by cutting the cereal box open and drawing a basic saucepan .
3. Have your child color the sauce pan with markers.
4. Time to cut out and add the letters! We used these alphabet stickers because my son isn't writing yet but if your child can write their letters, you could do that too!
5. Add glue between the letters.
6. Add the pasta to the glue. Let dry.
