I think I did too, Talia ;)

Personally, I can't figure Twitter out...maybe this is a good thing!

Talia,

I have been reading your blog for awhile and admire the way you weave stories about your daily life with observations about social justice and your work. Having spent a fair amount of time working both within and outside of the system to effect change I encourage you to remain open minded about the process and the potential for success.

I really appreciate your comment. I have been wondering what readers think about what I've been writing so it is great to hear from you. I would love to hear more about your experience/work...

Thanks again.

I guess that is the question, how do you work IN the system without becoming a part of the system? I despise Committee meetings at the State House. The people that WE elect sit so high up looking down on us - when we are the ones who gave them the privilege of sitting there. It is infuriating. I would like to take several of them on home visits with me, and really start shaking up the system. Make them see how their policies impact real people! Keep fighting the good fight.
