The Best Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies

My friend Camille gave me this recipe. (Note to self: you must try *any* recipe that Camille shares with you) Camille is a baker, cooker and kitchen creator extraordinaire. While you might make Chocolate Chip Cookies throughout the year, we add these to our Christmas baking list since I always like an excuse to whip these up. So in the Christmas Spirit, I share this recipe with you. It is fool-proof, really simple, delicious and a real crowd pleaser. Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 sticks of butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 2 1/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 cups chocolate chips Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cream the butter and sugars. Add the egg, mix fully. Add the flour and baking soda, mix until just combined. Add the chips. Place 1 inch balls of dough on a cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen. Need a little holiday look to your chocolate chip cookies? Go ahead and drizzle with some red and green frosting on top. SPC
