Button BugMaking something they can play with is good but when the process includes patterning and a fine motor skills workout , it's fantastic! 1. Gather your materials. You will need some buttons of various colors, a pipe cleaner and that's it. If you want to put eyes on you need 2 small buttons as well. 2. Start by bending your pipe cleaner in half. 3. Start threading your buttons on.Make sure to thread them on both ends. We did a pattern but you don't have to. 4. Only thread buttons half way along the pipe cleaners. 5. Add the eyes 6. Bend the pipe cleaners up to make antennae. |
