I wish I had some suggestions, but I know you've tried all sorts of things at this point. Poor L., but mostly, poor you!

Scooter's in a phase where he needs to call to us several times before he's settled in at night, and he's very specific about who comes. Even if it's for water, the *right* mother has to bring it.

(And while it's not sleep-related, today he's not speaking at school because he didn't want to go back after break.)

It's funny how there's always a "night parent"--the lucky (?) parent who is needed most at bedtime and beyond! Scott helps out when he can but L. always wakes me up first and there's not much I can do about it.

Poor Scooter--I have a friend whose daughter is doing "selective mutism" at school lately--I hope Scooter comes around--these breaks are hard to adjust to when they're over.
