So glad to hear T.'s first day went so well!

Wednesdays are odd days for us here, as they're early dismissal for teacher planning. It creates something like a stutter step in the middle of the week. By the time we recover, it's the weekend.

Wednesdays are always difficult to get through--and Wednesdays when I have a meeting are even worse!

This time of year always leaves me feeling like I am forgetting something, and I often am! When the kids were babies, I'd wake with a start - thinking I'd forgotten to put them in their crib or wondering if I'd left them under the covers on our bed. I know that feeling you were describing about T, it does take a lot of self-talk to get through with an ounce of sanity.

I'm glad T's first day went well. I look forward to stories of how her first year of school goes. It's so fun to see how they grow and learn!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks, Omaha--I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets that lost feeling this time of the year!
