It looks divine!

Thanks, Omaha--it WAS divine! Are you allergic to pecans, too? Because I think you could make this with pecans and it would be equally out of this world. The top gets all crunchy/gooey in the crock pot and it reminded me of pecan pie, so the effect would be just as good with pecans instead.

Oh, that DOES look good. Stupid walnut allergy!
I LOVE making desserts in the crockpot. I have this one caramel apple crisp recipe that practically makes me SOB all afternoon while it cooks pleasantly - and a chocolate mud cake, too. But I know what you mean about cooking in the slow cooker, although I am DEEPLY grateful for mine on busy days! xo

Walnuts and pecans are the two big offenders. Anaphylactic shock type allergies. Bummer.
A lot of REALLY good foods have one of those, which is sad. Oh well, I will let you know if I hunt down the chocolate recipe. It was sort of a lava cake, you know, gooey and not totally solid. We ate it with ice cream and oh my, it was something else.

Care to send that chocolate mud cake recipe my way, beck--sounds lovely!

Sorry about the --what a bummer indeed.
