Any good soup...lasagna (which is on the menu tonight) chocolate...the typical things.

We are under a winter storm warning until midnight so the lasagna will taste extra good tonight...

I have veggie chili on the menu for this week (we like it with wagon wheel pasta and crumbled tofu--it's an amazing recipe) and Sweet Pea, lasagna is the ultimate comfort food for me...

I'll have to try this pudding. It sounds awesome.
For me, snow day = soup. Wonderful, warm soup.
Also, rich and heavy baked casseroles. Which doesn't fit well with my current interest in eating lighter fare. The two don't go well together.

Right now I'm trying not wish for snow days. If we have any more, we'll be in school into June. If we don't have any more, we could possibly be out at the end of May. That is what keeps me from wanting those snow days. (Even though I still really want one, I'll just regret it come June!)

I know, Omaha--whenever I complain about our lack of snow and snow days I wince a little, thinking about people who are getting TONS of snow and having school pushed back.

I just want one teeny, weeny snow day, though--just one.
