I've been there. And it always does seem silly later. With my current two-year old, I've found my patience wearing thin lately. I have to make sure that I am TRYING to be nice and patient. It's moments like the one you describe where I wish I would've spoken up. I wish I would've said what I was thinking. I never do.

I know what you mean, Omaha. I really wanted to say something to her (the first mom in particular) but I just didn't--I wasn't sure what to do.

It's funny--my patience for some things had gotten much stronger as I've grown older, but my patience for little transgressions has worsened, I think. I think that as your kids grow too your expectations shift, so you find yourself less tolerant of the small stuff perhaps.
