Scooter's getting that same book L. just got from his book fair! We had to order it because it was out at all the bookstores we've been to and, amazingly, his book fair last month did not have it at all (or we would have heard about it). I also use his book fair to pick out a book for his cousin's present.

I need to find some fun books to put on my own wish list. Right now, everything tends to be academic-related. (Especially since I just found out that one of my texts for my next ed course costs $70 used!)

I wish we had bought that book online instead. Amazon has it for $12 and we paid $21!

Our Scholastic warehouse has their 1/2 price sae beginning today! I always have to go and spend a wad of money on books and books and books. For gifts, for us, for myself. It's so much fun! Most books are 1/2 off, and there are also $1 and $2 aisles!

The Rainbow Magic books confuse me also. There are the pet fairies, which I believe are the same? Or by the same author. At any rate, there are so many!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't keep the fairies straight!

I'm prone to go a little nuts with the books this time of the year--but honestly, I think they are the perfect gifts!
