Although I'm not a parent, I do understand the importance of any and all child safety-related news that makes it's way into onto the television, Internet, or into the newspapers. And it seems as though baby car seats are one topic that can perplex even the most seasoned parents. What's safe? Has there been any changes in the recommendations since the last time I read about this? Or, perhaps the most common one-- how in the world do I install this thing? So, I thought I'd share this helpful checklist, offered by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, that parents can use when contemplating the pros and cons of baby car seats. However, with this all being said, I'll go back to my original statement: I'm not a parent. So I ask all you parents out there-- was this checklist helpful? Do you have any other car seat tips for new (or not-so-new) parents?
