Favorite holiday cookies

The holidays are all about tradition, and a childhood favorite of mine was (and still is!) baking peanut blossom cookies. And since I think everyone should indulge in this delicious treat, I'm offering the recipe to all of you: Ingredients:1/2 cup shortening3/4 cup peanut butter1/2 cup granulated  sugar1/2 cup packed brown sugar1 egg2 teaspoons milk1 teaspoon vanilla extract1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt1 bag milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped Directions:-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.-Grease cookie sheets.-Cream shortening and peanut butter in mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar, creaming well. -Beat in egg, vanilla, and milk.-Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamy mixture.-Shape into small balls  (about a teaspoonful each.) -Roll balls in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheet.-Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and press a candy kiss into the center of each cookie, pressing firmly so the cookie cracks around the edges.<-Bake for another 2 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Kids will love helping to put the candy kisses in the middle of the cookies. Just be careful around the hot stove! Although this recipe should yield around 3 dozen cookies, I usually end up with fewer than that. So now that I've shared my favorite holiday cookie recipe with you, it's time for you to share yours with us! What is your favorite holiday cookie? More importantly, what's the recipe?
