If it were possible to get all your vitamins from the foods at the local grocery store, you could throw out your multivitamins. But you can't, because overfarming, soil depletion, commercial fertilizers, hybrid crops, and genetic modifications have slashed the nutrients found in conventional fruits and vegetables. According to the USDA, the vitamin and mineral content of produce has plummeted since 1975. Minerals like iron and magnesium have dropped by more than 80%. The University of Texas also tracked the decline of nutrients in produce and found significant drops across the board, including a 20% decline in vitamin C and a 38% plunge in vitamin B2. Don't toss the multivitamins!

I want to first say that this article isn't so bad but it is missing some good information about MultiVitamins, like the difference from a synthetic one from one that is Organic Raw Whole Food with many different foods in it. It is no secrete that we are missing some of the most import foods in our diet, but what we also need to understand is that even when you buy or go out to eat and eat Organic, we still are missing many nutrients that we need for day to day life because the soil just isn't deep enough any more due to government pollution both in the ground and from the air going into our soils. So you might say, then ware do I get a really great MultiVitamin that is Organic and Whole Food Based. From a Standard Process Physician who carries the line. You see, you have to be a Physician to be able to carry this line, its not sold over the counter as some of the other synthetic products that you may find at you local vitamin store. Synthetic vitamins are not as real as they want you to believe they are, they are coated with product that your body doesn't even recognize, which means your body will not process this the way it is intended to. So the real question is, where do all of the unrecognized synthetic product go that you just swallowed and where do they end up? you don't want to know and that's another blog for another day.

As a nation we eat foods that have been stripped of their nutrients. We do not eat enough fresh produce, whole grains, and quality protein. So, we take a multivitamin to help us to maintain good optimum health. But consider this if you will, where do the nutrients in your multivitamin come from? and is it truly doing its job of replacing the nutrients missing from your diet?

Foods in Catalyn comprised of 1,000's of known and unknown nutrients. The nutrients within foods work synergistically to provide the body the tools it needs to maintain optimum health. Cataltyn, is a whole food multivitamin, contains 15 different food sources. Every food in Catalyn supplies a full list of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, even though thet haven't been discovered. Catalyn provides nutrients as nature intended,-in whole food form so that you receive many nutrients the whole food provides, rather then incomplete isolated components of the food. There are over 200 hundred different known nutrients and components in carrot root alone, and thats just one of many found in Catalyn.

Multivitamin Comparrison-
When comparing labels from catalyn and a typical retail multivitamin , you will notice that catalyn contains familiar whole food nutrients-carrot root, wheat germ, mushroom, ect...The retail multivitamin label that you will read will be missing many of the naturally occurring nutrients and phytonutrients found in combination in foods found in Catalyn. Look for multivitamins with whole foods as thier foundation.

At my office, I believe that given the proper nutrition , your body has the amazing capability to keep its self healthy. I also believe that nutrition should be individualized to meet each patients needs. For these reasons and many others, I proudly recommend Standard Process Supplements. Organic Raw Whole Food Supplements are good for you and we need them, but know where they are coming from, always read labels, always read labels!

I hope that this gets out to many and that you and your families find this article useful. Thank you for taking the time in reading this blog.

Sincerely & Best in Health to you and Yours..God Bless to All!
