Just when I think I've heard it all...
A Swedish couple has decided to keep their child's gender a secret to avoid him, I mean her, I mean "Pop" from being forced into a "specific gender mold from the outset".
The toddler's name is Pop. And so far, the only people who know Pop's gender are the one's who change his/her's diapers. Pop wears dresses, pants, and anything else s/he wants (Pop's parents let him/her pick out his/her clothes everyday). Pop's parents also change his/her hairstyle to avoid giving away any clues.
OK, seriously? I mean, I'm all for equal rights and gender equality, but...

OK, seriously Mother Nature. Enough is enough.
For all you New Englanders out there, you know exactly what I am talking about. This month has brought a whole new meaning to the term "June Gloom." I'm starting to think it's going to rain for all of eternity, and that we are all going to be forced to retire our sunglasses and adorable summer outfits forever. It's depressing. And I'm not sure how much longer I can handle this!

Anyone in their 20's or older often looks back fondly on how things "used to be". Well, maybe 20's is a little young to be thinking that way, but at the ripe old age of 26, there have been a couple of times when I've gotten a little nostalgic for the good old days that didn't require having an electronic device attached to your body 24/7. But I digress. I'll save that rant for another post. This post, my dear readers, is dedicated to...

I just read an interesting article, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Here is the situation; you and your man, have a nice romantic night together. A couple of weeks go by, and SURPRISE…you are going to expand your family. First off, let me congratulate you, Congratulations! So, as time goes by you get antsy to know the sex of the baby. No worries, because now there is an at-home test for expecting mothers that will determine the sex of the baby.
I know many expecting parents find out the sex of the baby at the 20-week sonogram. This makes sense with designing the baby’s nursery, buying...

I've been sitting here contemplating exactly what I want to write about for the better part of today. So many interesting (and frightening, and happy) things have happened to me and around the world over the weekend, that my writing should know no bounds. I should have a plethora of things to write about. For example, I could write about my cousin's beautiful wedding shower this past weekend (and a few tips on wedding shower etiquette to boot). Or I could write about the disappearance of Air France flight 447 carrying 228 people from Rio de Janiero to Paris. And, although I didn't watch them...
