So the top movies in theaters right now are Alice in Wonderland and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Both books gone big screen. I went and saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Not much to talk about there, so my attention turns to Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Strangely, I haven't seen Jeff Kinney around the office much. That's right, he works right here at FamilyEducation Network. And he is a busy, busy man with the mixed reviews flying around about his book-to-movie masterpiece.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but reading reviews, you either loved it or hated it.
Isn't that what every movie is like?

If you were a fan of the Corey duo (Haim and Feldman) in the 80's like I was, the death of Corey Haim is either totally expected or a huge surprise. Personally, with all the drug problems, I'm surprised he lasted this long, but it is sad to see him go. He leaves behind some classic movies, roles, and memories.
The Los Angeles coroner's office reported Haim dead at the age of 38 at 2:15 a.m. of an apparent overdose.
Not that he should have died sooner, but if he had he could have been remembered at the Academy Award's montage of those who past away this year.
....Then again, maybe not.
