It's halfway through July which, if you house is anything like mine, probably means one thing — summer boredom has officially set in. Am I right?
Although the non-scheduled days of summer are wonderful the first few weeks, now is usually around the time I start frantically looking for something (anything!) to do with the kids that doesn't involved plunking them in front of the television or the computer.
So, what's on our schedule this week? Nature activities! The kids and I are getting outside and becoming one with Mother Nature.
Care to join us? If you need some ideas, these 10 hands-on nature activities are the perfect way to get your kids outside. There are even a few that can be turned into games (think: neighborhood scavenger hunt!)
Oh, and ps — we won't tell them that they are learning activities, too. (Wink, wink.)
