Kids love to pretend to be adults especially adults doing the jobs they see when they are out and about. There has been a lot of road work in our area lately so we dug through the drawers to find things to make a hand held sign to pretend to be a construction zone flag person.
Gather your materials. You will need 2 plastic lids ( ours are one from an icing container , the other from riccota cheese), a pencil, some tape, a marker, sticky back foam and scissors.
Start by tracing the lids on the foam , writing stop on the red and slow on the yellow then cutting out .
Make notches in the lids.Tape the pencil in.
Tape the lids together sandwiching the pencil.
Peel off the backing of the foam.
Stick on. Play.
