Out of no where my son has decided he wants to count by two but it was a hard concept for him to grasp until I showed him with some easy to make manipulatives.
You will need some popscicle sticks, and markers.
Number the sticks by 2.
Add dots.
Count the dots as you stick the sticks together- showing your child the "short cut".
