We *love* the quinoa pudding! It's one of T.'s favorites...I know--that gas mask is just too much.

A very good friend of mine died on Thanksgiving four years ago, I know exactly what you are saying here because this time of year always feels fragile to me too. I hope that your friends are healing, that your worries will subside. It is so hard to watch friends suffer through health problems, I hope that you can find the strength you will need to see them through it.

And quinoa? We haven't tried it yet. I just asked J this weekend if he's ready to give it a try. My past attempts at branching out in the grain world have been met with great resistance around here!

I think all the fall/winter holidays make me think about how fragile it all is. There's so much closeness, so many traditions, and yet everyone gets a year older each year and time keeps marching on.

Try the quinoa pudding! It's sweet, so that might be the wya to go. I'm not a huge fan of quinoa in savory dishes--in fact, I haven't tried many recipes. But that pudding is definitely a favorite.
