I will absolutely hold your hand...if daily comments count as hand holding!? :-)

I had junior high, and our school was K-12, so not a school change. But we got to go upstairs with the high school kids. And switch classes. And have LOCKERS. All very exciting. I had some negative experiences, but I really didn't dislike that time in my life. So it's not horrible for all of us!

Here's what my mom has said to me many times over the past few months (when worry often left me nearly doubled over with panic). "Melanie, you are getting way ahead of yourself. Do you have what you need for today?" And you know what, I did. This question has helped me a lot recently, I ask myself this almost daily. It's so simple that it's crazy how much better it makes me feel!

I LOVE your mom's advice--I think I will start using it. And thanks for holding my hand, too--the daily comments help tremendously, they really do.
