We've been in school for two weeks now and are getting into the swing of things. I think this year was full of even bigger changes because I went back to work too. My little M is not loving school as much as his big sister always has, so I'm trying to really work on structuring things up (to include lots of down time) so that he can enjoy school more as we get into the year. So far, at best, I would describe him as ambivalent.

Oh, and folders? Yes. I am a folder fanatic.

I would say "ambivalent" probably describes a lot of kids, Omaha. Although I am not one to rush to gender stereotypes, I do think boys have more trouble adapting to the school environment that girls. I think they need to "grow" into it over time...
