I loved our sling for both kids--best investment ever. that and pacifiers!

and yes, i wish i could had let some of those little things go. with my first i worried SO much it was ridiculous. but somehow i survived it all with the help of many loved ones and those pacifiers! ;-)

I wanted my kids to use pacifiers so badly but neither one of them ever took to the things, much to my disappointment. I had visions of popping a paci in my baby's mouth and having him/her drop instantly off to sleep.

Ah, baby stuff. I loved shopping for and thinking about and dreaming of baby stuff. My kids both liked the vibrating bouncy seats. We didn't get much use out of slings or carriers, my back couldn't take it and my kids weren't much for it either. My boppy was great for holding them while in the chair, for nursing and just cuddling. My kids both spit up constantly, so it was a constant supply of receiving blankets, clean outfits, and dreft stain removal spray!

I still love shopping for other people who are having babies, even though I usually choose the totally non-essential stuff for them. I can't get enough of teensy baby clothes!

Oh yes--the boppy! I loved my boppy pillow and used it for all sorts of things. It was even great for propping up the baby when he/she was learning to sit!
