Popsicle Stick Candy Cane

Have I mentioned how much I love candy canes? No?!
I have never met one I didn't throughly enjoy eating, well not a real one. Bubblegum candy canes need not apply.
This is a fast and sugar free candy cane to make with your kids while also teaching them about patterns.
You will need some colorful popscicle sticks ( ours were sent to us from our friends at craftprojectideas.com ), paper, a marker and glue.

Start by drawing a candy cane outline.

Add glue
Start doing your pattern. My son counted all the lines first then decided on his pattern.

Let dry and add to your holiday decor!
Easy "Left Over' Easter Egg

This is not a complicated craft that will take your child ages to complete, it's simple, pretty and a great math lesson if you want it to be. Easter eggs are a great source for lessons in patterning and this craft that uses left over birthday party streamers is no exception.
1. Gather your materials. You Will need a sheet of construction paper, a marker, some left over party streamers, scissors and glue.
